No, unless your landlord moonlights as a marketing guru, tag-based rent payments don’t cover the bills.
Offering "exposure" as rent usually works about as well as paying taxes with Monopoly money. Landlords need actual dollars to cover mortgage, repairs, and other bills. Tagging them on Instagram or TikTok might make you feel savvy, but it won't get you a receipt or a roof over your head. Stick to cold, hard cash or approved payment methods unless you want an eviction notice starring you.
